So, no posts for the last few days.
I've been busy moving house and there are way too many things to keep me occupied during this process. I promise to resume posting as soon as I am settled in, up and running.
Another thing that keeps me from posting is the very slow Three mobile internet that I have to use until I get my proper line pulled in.
I have noticed few visitors in the log which is great, I was assuming I would be getting nowhere near my first visitors this quickly. I am only in my first week so far.
In the mean time I am also checking out these guys (www.esources.co.uk) for some goodies for my new house. It is basically a wholesale and drop-shipper directory and since it is very easy to sign up you can essentially get great deals on goods that would otherwise cost you an arm and a leg.
I can highly recommedn doing it because I've been with a drop shipping company for 2 years now and alhough my initial plan of selling their stuff on eBay went nowehre because I simply did not have enough time to start the whole thing, I did buy off numerous things however for my own and friends use off them. The reason I am recommending www.esources.co.uk is becasue I am based in Ireland and the company I used before are US based. They are very good anyway. If you are curious then here is the link anyway: www.dropshipbusiness.com
ANd, thanks for reading my stuff.

Comparing blogging platforms
Morning everybody.
I got up nice and early this morning. 6.30 am to be more exact. Gosh does it feel great having an early start sometimes.
So first thing first I am finishing the Blogging course checklist from the last night. Left some unfinished things. Anyway, the Simpleology Blogging course is going great. Although it is a little basic at the moment (remember i've been on-line for more than 12 years at this stage) I find it very encouraging in doing research.
For example, I spent some good time researching different blogging platforms last night and this morning. Oh boy, there are a lot of new platforms, freeware and systems I've never thought possible.
In brief, I am currently on the Blogger service as I picked it purely out of convenience (clicked on the first link that came up on Google) but I already see moving to something with more flexibility like MovableType or WordPress. I am planning to add some cool features to the blog, so that will probably require hosting it on my own account and since I am on the budget I am going to consider one of the free platforms.
MovableType seems to have a ton more features however WordPress seems easier to install.
I also came across this post that shows "blog anatomy". I know, it's more than 3 years old and in internet terms that's pre historic, but the general, relative amount features seems still true when compared in between those blog types. MovableType I think has evolved a lot faster than the other ones.
Another fantastic post here about the whole blogging concept. Some great value there.
I am also about to go through the whole list here. And I will report back on that one.
Haveing said all that it seems to that I might be sticking with WordPress for now and will investigate MovabeType in more detail.
OK, enough for now, back to Day 4 on the Blogging course.
If you have any suggestions, please feel free to comment.

Second Day blogging.
Hello there,
I had a very productive day today. Mostly thanks to the productivity course I am doing and also because I started my first blog ever yesterday and feel quiet excited about it today. So I've been filled with a lot of energy. I guess another booster is the fact that my girlfriend is on the way back from the countryside visiting her folks.
Anyhow, I just wanted to check in and say that the Simpleology Blogging course seems very interesting. I am learning a lot already and it looks like I have made right decision to stick to it.
You can check it out in my previous post.
Peace for now.

Serious about blogging
So, now that I am up and running I am about to start researching the tools and ways to make my blog better.
There are few things that I am planning to do:
- redesign the theme
- design a logo for my blog
- add some nice features
- start promoting it
I also decided to sign up for some courses/forums/etc. One of them is this one below.
I'm evaluating a multi-media course on blogging from the folks at Simpleology. For a while, they're letting you snag it for free if you post about it on your blog.
It covers:
- The best blogging techniques.
- How to get traffic to your blog.
- How to turn your blog into money.
I'll let you know what I think once I've had a chance to check it out. Meanwhile, go grab yours while it's still free.
Hello World, Again!
So, just like the Title says: "Hello World Again!"
I have been on-line since around 1993 I believe and had several websites published before 1995 when I used to work for a large sound and lighting company back in Riga, Latvia.
Somehow, over the years, I never had enough impulse to start a blog, although I always had lots of views and ideas to share. However, for some reason or another, I never did it.
Today I am launching my first blog. I hope that You and others will find it interesting and that I will also find it interesting enough to keep posting and not let it rot like so many other blogs I've seen around.
So for now I will say Hello again and goodbye until the next post.
All the Best,
Kris
